As a service unit within the Lincoln University Community, the Office of Sponsored Programs developed this student resource manual with you in mid. Our students are our most valued resource and here we have gathered information to help you source scholarship, Internships and other research opportunities that we hope will help you add value and maximize the opportunities as you progress through the college experience.
The manual is arranged in two sections. The first section is devoted entirely to Undergraduate Scholarships, while section II contains information on Internships and other Research Opportunities. Each section is further subdivided and arranged by subjects (Science, Business, Social Science etc), thus enabling you to find relevant information more quickly and efficiently. The requirements, qualifications and application process are highlighted for each opportunity including links to the website where possible.
It should be pointed out that the information contained in the manual is by no means exhaustive. The manual is intended as a first step and guide only. In this regard it is very important that users check with your Academic Advisors, your department chairs and, Deans for additional information. Not only will they have current information but in many instances they will most likely have direct contact with sponsors and can help you transform your application into a wining award. Keep in mind also that The LU Career Services Offices and the Office of International Programs are additional key resources in your quest for scholarships and internships, so be sure to include them on your list places to visit.
The manual will be updated annually, stop by the Office of Sponsored Programs to view a hard copy, our student interns will be very happy to help you.
